The 2026 Earth Day Festival in Brunswick is complete. Volunteers helped make the day welcoming, lively, and well organized, and we are starting to hear from people interested in helping with the 2027 Festival.

Find Your People
These are examples of volunteer teams from the 2026 Festival and likely needs for 2027. Formal sign-up details will come later; for now, email us if you would like to help.
Festival Outreach Team
This one is easy — help invite people to come and enjoy the Festival. We expect to need volunteers who like social media, posters, newsletters, and other ways to spread the word.
All Species Parade Team
If you like dressing up and theater, this team helps bring the All Species Parade to life. Parade volunteers can help welcome costumed marchers, lead music and movement, and organize costume-making before the Festival.
Setup and Takedown
If you like hands-on logistics, this is the team for you. Setup and takedown volunteers help place tables, mark spaces, and support vendors and participating organizations as they move exhibits in and out.
Greeters and Information
Welcome Festival-goers and help them find activities, exhibits, talks, maps, restrooms, food, and outdoor happenings. If you like talking to people and being helpful, this is a good fit.
Activity Assistants
Help with workshops, demonstrations, and activities at the Festival.
Music, Dancing, and Games
Join this team to help make the outdoor Festival feel joyful. Past needs included music, dancing, games, and informal performances that gave people a reason to linger and celebrate.
Photography Team
Capture photos of the Festival and share them with us. Perfect if you have photography skills — or want to develop them.
Coastal Cleanup Leaders
The 2026 Festival connected with the 5th Annual Coastal Cleanup organized by Mere Point Oyster Co. If a future cleanup partnership needs Festival volunteer leaders, we will share details when they are available.
