Prizes and In Kind
The commercial value of your prize entitles you to advertising at the matching level. For example, if you donate a $20 gift certificate, you receive the right to have a seasonal business listing in the Earth Day Every Day Resource Guide. Values align with our Resource Guide tiers—$7.50 monthly, $20 seasonal, and $75 annual—and we can discuss recognition for higher-value prizes.
We also welcome other in-kind contributions; contact us to match value to recognition.
All prize sponsors are recognized at the Festival. People entering the contest see the list of businesses that are providing the prizes.

How is the Resource Guide published?
The Earth Day Every Day Resource Guide is published online and sent out to the Festival email list. A new edition is released on the first Monday of each month. The deadline to be included is the last Thursday of the previous month.
What is the deadline for buying an ad in the Festival Program?
Monday, April 6, 2026 is the deadline for ads to be included in the printed Festival Program (all ad sizes). Ads received after that date are included in the online Festival Program only; your business is still recognized in the sponsor gallery at the event.
How does donating a prize relate to Resource Guide listings?
The commercial value of your prize is matched to the corresponding Resource Guide tier—for example, a $20 prize qualifies for a seasonal business listing. Prize sponsors are recognized at the Festival, contest entrants see contributing businesses, and all sponsors at every level appear in the sponsor gallery.
What format do ads need to be in?
If color fidelity is important to you, use CMYK not RGB color. We accept any image format, but vector formats like PDF or SVG reproduce the best. Submit raster images (JPG, PNG, etc.) at 300 dots per inch or higher resolution for best quality. The Festival Program will be 5.5" wide by 8.5" tall. Ads must provide a 0.25" border on each page, so a full-page ad is 5" wide by 8" tall, a half-page ad is 5" wide by 4" tall, and a quarter-page ad is 2.5" wide by 4" tall. The Festival Program is also published online; you may submit two versions of your ad, one optimized for online viewing and one for printing. If you submit only one version, submit the version optimized for printing. For full technical specifications and submission details, see the Festival Program Ad Instructions (PDF).
If I'm renting a table or tent space to exhibit at the Festival, is an ad included?
Yes. Every exhibit includes a standard quarter-page “Find us at the Festival” ad in the Festival Program that we typeset for you, with a high-resolution version of your logo, business name, short description, and website URL, plus a complimentary annual business listing in the Resource Guide. You can upgrade to a half-page or full-page ad in the Festival Program for an additional fee; see the Exhibit page for details.
