About the Festival

Sustainable Practice presents the Earth Day Festival in Brunswick as a free, family-friendly celebration of practical sustainability, empowering education, and community connection. The event is designed to be approachable, upbeat, and intergenerational, with something to do whether you come for 20 minutes or stay all day.

The Festival is presented by Sustainable Practice, a Brunswick-based business with a mission to empower people to expand their positive impact on Earth. Generous business sponsors and individual supporters fund the Festival, so it can be free for everyone to attend. Participating non-profit and governmental organizations provide educational experiences that make the Festival meaningful and memorable.

If Festival revenues exceed expenses, 99% of the profits are shared back among the participating organizations that help the event succeed. This financial model is built to encourage and reward people who work together to share enthusiasm, learning, and fun for the day.

Come Again Next Year!

Sustainable Practice has committed to presenting the Festival again in 2027 and 2028, nurturing the seeds planted this first year.
