Questions and Answers

Is a sponsorship a one-time exposure, or does it provide ongoing value?

Ongoing. Your Resource Guide listing keeps working for you after the Festival ends. Annual listings remain visible for a full year. The Festival will be presented in 2026, 2027, and 2028. Sponsors of the 2026 Festival will continue to be displayed on the Festival website all year.

How are sponsorship proceeds and individual contributions used?

Proceeds from sponsorships and gifts from Friends of the Festival pay the costs to produce and promote the Festival, and then 99% of profits (if any) are donated to participating nonprofits who provide the fun activities and education at the Festival. We're building community, as well as growing our local economy. Learn more about our profit-sharing model.

Who's behind this event?

Sustainable Practice, a partnership between Fred Horch and Peggy Siegle (both long-time Brunswick residents), is presenting the Festival. Fred is known locally as the former proprietor of F.W. Horch Sustainable Goods & Supplies, which he owned and operated on Maine Street for many years in Brunswick.

Can I secure exclusivity in my industry for my business at the Festival?

Yes, by becoming a Category or Headline sponsor, you can secure industry exclusivity for your exhibit at the Festival. The earlier you commit, the better your protection.

What happens after I complete the order form?

We'll contact you to confirm your sponsorship level and invoice you. Then we'll ask for your logo, description, and any details we need for your listing or advertisement.

I'm a food vendor. Can I sell food at the Festival?

Yes! We're seeking savory and sweet food trucks and carts. No fee to vend — you keep 100% of your sales. Food vending is separate from business sponsorship. Learn more and apply on our food vendor page.

Are gifts or sponsorships tax deductible?

No. The Festival is a profit-sharing event, but Sustainable Practice is not a charitable organization, so gifts or sponsorships are not tax deductible. Contributions from individuals are gifts (not tax deductions) and sponsorships are advertising expenses.
